Guillaume Zuili
Photographe franco-américain, représenté par l’Agence VU’ depuis 1992 et par la galerie Clémentine de la Féronnière depuis 2016, vit et travaille principalement à Los-Angeles (Californie, USA)
A 21 ans Guillaume Zuili effectue son premier voyage en Inde. Fasciné par les anciens comptoirs français, il débute un travail photographique en noir et blanc pour en restituer l’émotion et l’atmosphère nostalgique. De ce projet au long cours (1986-1995) naissent deux ouvrages – « Les Anciens comptoirs français de l’Inde », Edition C&D, 1992 ; « Pondichery», Editions du Chêne, 2003 – et s’affirme une certaine vision de la photographie : celle qui évoque, qui transmet des sensations, des moments, des tonalités…

Guillaume Zuili made his first journey in India when he was 21. He was fascinated by the former French trading posts and began a black and white work to unveil their nostalgic atmosphere. This ten-year project (1986-1995) lead up to two books: « The French Trading Posts in India » in 1992 and « Pondicherry » in 2003.
